Illinois Starve Rock

We have an area that is in Seneca Illinois that is any one is interested in doing a great ride that have I believe camping, hotel and cabins. The riding is along the Illinois river and there are some really nice little bars to go too. Actually the area would make for an excellant get together place for the forum. The resort has a nice resturant and like I said some nice places for day rides. It's called Starved Rock and it's a state park I believe in Utica, Il.

I know this post is a couple of years old, but I thought I'd post in it and revive it a bit.

I live in Illinois, and Starved Rock is about 3-hours from me via local highway, a bit over two on Interstate, and I one day hope to do the loop around the IL River Scenic Highway. I am not one for planning, but if a group trip/camping is planned, count me in. I finally have a bike worth traveling with, and I am ready to use it.

Well Dan ... How about setting your sights on one of the campouts we have planed for the summer?
There is the Chill-Out in June, the NorthWoods Campout in August, and a campout in the works for September in Maine.
Better yet, why not come and join us at all of em? ... P^

Reckon I ought to. I believe you invited me to the north woods one last year, and I wanted to go, but I just couldn't stand to ride the TW for that long, which was my only bike at the time. Maybe I'll head out there this year and can even visit my brother on the way home.
