Weather:
Great.

Campground Condition:

Very nice stream running along the road where campsites are.
The bathroom/shower facilities are nice.
This is a scenic park at first look however, there was some traffic at night and the campsites are between the road and stream. All night long, we could hear cars going by and we kept thinking a drunk driver was going ot run over us. For this reason, I won't use this campgound again - it's hard to not recommend a campground, but as pretty as this one was, the road traffic was just too noisy and wouldn't allow a good night's sleep.Area Riding:
This park is on the northern end of Hwy 23 - Pig Trail Scenic Byway - GREAT!Additional Information:

I found it strange that you wouldn't do again since it was close to the road. All of the state parks that I camped at are no where near a road. So I looked up the link and could not believe how the park is laid out - like some roadside park.

Yeah, it's a strange setup... There's maybe 30 feet of campground between the road and the stream/forest area. It is setup like a city park rather than a state park.. It's a shame because it is a pretty area and it just wasn't planned well, or it just gets too much traffic from the small cities. I think when we were there there must have been a local rodeo or something because all the trucks and horse trailers w/ teen agers were driving all over the place.
