This is a delightful State park, with lots to do for the outdoor enthusiast that is relatively unknown, in SW Utah, not far from St. George.
I met up with a buddy and we camped here Sept 10 & 11
Snow Canyon SP is actually nearest to Santa Clara, UT, which is kinda a suburb of St George. It is a great place to base camp and explore all the nearby, crowded National Parks, and return to the serenity that is Snow Canyon.
Zion, Bryce Canyon, Cedar Breaks are all easy day trips from here. The scenery and climate is fantastic. Supplies/meals are just 10 minutes away.
There are showers, potable water, picnic tables, fire rings, but no WiFi in the park. Hiking trails, scrambling, rock climbing, exploring lava tubes are but a few of the things you can do here
Cost was a very reasonable $16/night and the friendly staff suggested a site that was large enough to place our 2 tents on, close to the shower house/washroom and had a dynamite view.(site # 23
Highly recommended! P^
