New guy here from Saint Paul. Been lurking through the winter trying to read and learn. Lots of good stuff here! I traded in my street bike last year for a touring bike (2009 Harley Street Glide) and hope to be able to take some road trips this summer and camp along the way.

Thanks for the kind words folks. One of my riding buddies has a Goldwing. Beautiful bike but just not for me. I'm not a brand snob anyway. First bike was an 87ish Honda Nighthawk 700S, then a 92 Kawi ZX-6, a 94 ZX-7, a 96 ZX-6, a 99 ZX-11, a 2000 Yamaha V-Max, a 2002 Harley Fat Boy, and finally my 2009 HD Street Glide. Wish I could have kept them all but being in my forties, the cafe bikes aren't m thing any more (I do like the Hayabusa though).

I shall not challenge you:)
We spend a lot of time riding in your neighborhood and there's not one thing wrong with it. If you see buddy Chris on the well-worn maroon K100, be sure and say hello. He's kind of a Santa without the sleigh or reindeer.
