I can't sleep all night with out making a trip to the bathroom. Any in-tent solutions besides diapers?

1 Liter Mountain Dew, empty during the day refill at night! :p Tear off the label so you don't get them confused with the fresh ones!

This is going to sound silly, but have you had a heart checkup lately? My doctor says the most common reasons for tiny bladder is a bad ticker or sleep apnea (you stop breathing while asleep).

Mike's right.

I used to attend motorcycle events and we talked about wine, women and song. Now we all seem to talk about CPAP, heart meds and "remember when......"

This has come up before in THIS (http://www.motocampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2480) thread.

I bought some traveljohns (http://www.traveljohn.com/), I haven't used one yet but seems like a good solution.

I've actually haven't needed one since I discovered not drinking a lot of beer or diet drinks before going to bed, and more water instead, doesn't make me want to go in the middle of the night as much.

I might have all the above including an enlarged prostate and too much salt intake, however I am on the treadmill or stepper for at least 45 minutes 5-6 days a week. I guess it is time for a check up before I check outP^

I'd get up three or four times a night until I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. Since I got my magic breathin' machine, I sleep all night.

In addition to cutting back on the diet drinks & beer.... another thing that helps is shrinking the "dunlop" over the belt line. Being overweight causes the bladder to not, ummm, hold as much.

And using a bottle as mentioned is a real life saver. Just be careful!

one thing for the prostate that might help is Cooled Thermal Therapy (http://www.urologychannel.com/prostate/bph/treatment_therm.shtml), it took about 4 months to see results but it did work.

I'm pretty much with SidecarMike. The breathing machine makes all the difference in the world. I found a very cool CPAP machine by Everest AEIOU at www.CPAP.com which charges off of the bike and gives me about 2 nights of sleep between charges and is very small. Price wise as CPAP machines go, it's rather inexpensive. My Dr. wrote me a prescription for it as I was paying for it out of my pocket.

Along those lines, when I travel I bring along a prescription for the machine. If something happens to mine, I want to be able to rent a replacement.

Yes, along those lines...

See your Urologist. You need to anyway. Have your prostate checked,
and a before/after sonogram to your bladder to check if your bladder is
draining all the way, which if not, this will most likely be why you're
getting up at night.

It happens over time and you might not have even noticed (like that
frog in boiling water thing).

Otherwise, YES! Stop drinking before going to bed.
