Big Bend Bash 2010

Hi All,

Just wanted to post up a few pics of things I saw while at Big Bend.

Early the first day of riding Trailace, Arlo, Toejam and myself came across this grave marker out in the middle of nowhere.

We saw a whole lotta land that looked like this.

Here's the Rio Grande. Mexico on the left, Texas on the right.

On this one, if you look REAL close, you can see Arlo and Toejam at the top of the hill. Trailace made it almost to the top. Where you see my bike is as close to the top as I got. LOL

Some Great Pic Guy Back in the late 60 I was going to school at Sul Ross. Some buddies and I would go to Big Bend and camp and jug fish in the River. Terlingua was realy a ghost town The old bar was boarded up( I belive some one has open a store in it now) and the only building you could go in and look was a old church and a few Old 1/2 standing houses. It didn't take long to prowl thu the town. A deputy sheriff drove up one time . While we were there . He said he didn,t for us to look around , but stay out of the mine. For they could cave in. Every time we went to the Rio Grand fishing we would stop and look at the old ghost town, but we stay away from the mines.
Plan on going back in a couple of weeks Glad ya'll had a great time.

Nice pictures, folks. I was a bit depressed not to see anyone wearing rain gear and winter clothing, though. Would have made us northerners feel a might better about things... :)

Arlo and Toe Jam sounds like a new band, but wait I've heard Arlo sing and it's not very good. If it's the same Arlo I know we have done a few rides in the past 20 years or so and I think I know the story on Toe Jam as well. Great ride report get out to Arizona and I can take you on some great adventures!!

You were feelin a bit depressed ??? I'm the one that's depressed, 'couse when I got back home here, there was still snow, and a bunch of it!
I surely didn't wanna see snow, I wanted to see green grass and warm weather when I returned ... Didn't happen.
