Greetings and salutations to all! I've been lurking on this forum for a while now, and thought I'd say hello. I've enjoyed what I've seen here and look forward to seeing you at the campfire. I've been riding over 40 years, and M/C camping for close to 30. Got to be too old to sleep on the ground, and too cheap to buy a camper, so I built myself one. It pulls good, and sleeps well, so I'm a "Happy Camper"! Been planning a trip to N. Carolina in May, so I was interested to see the Cherohala Chill out thread. May have to put that on my calendar!

Welcome Jim,
If you have been lurking for some time then you already know how this group is. A good group of folks sharing info and help to others. I'm sure others would be interested in seeing pics of your camper.

Thanks Eric, I agree there is a wealth of info to be found here and it seems to be a pretty friendly bunch. I'm pretty techno challenged, so I have no idea how to post pictures here. Also, how do get the map in your signature?

Welcome to the site Jim! The easiest way I have found to do pics is to transfer them from a site like photobucket. You upload your pics there and then you can attach them to the post by copy and paste. I'm no techno wizz myself but the fine folks on here can steer ya straight. Photobucket is a free site if you don't have tons of photos, get signed up and we'll be glad to help you get your pics up. We love pictures here!

I have to say this is the finest forum I've had the pleasure of reading. Truly great folks on here.

Welcome Jim, and greetings from Beauregard Parish. I grew up in Rapides, so am somewhat familiar with your 'neck of the woods'. If you wander off down here, please stop by.

I used the following website to create my 'visited states' map:

BJFazio, thanks for the link to the map. That site seems to have a pretty good campground locator, too. Always handy to have!

Welcome Jim!
Pull your stump up closer to the fire ring and enjoy the tall tales being told. I know you'll add a few yourself after a bit.
Good group here! P^

Cheers, Dusty

Welcome to the Forum, Jim.
Looks like an interesting trailer you have ... Do you have a discription and clearer shot of it?
