Just wanted to make a quick introduction.
I have been motorcycle camping for years. I recently started camping with a trailer and I don't want to go back to setting up a tent and sleeping on the ground.
For the last 2 summers I have had a soft top TravLite camper that I really enjoyed but knew it wasn't what I wanted long term. I think it was really good that I got to experience using it because it helped me nail down what I was really looking for in a camper for the last several years.
It was a really tough decision but I went ahead and ordered the Roll A Home last week.
I already have a couple ideas planned for upgrades. A battery and some interior lights will be first. Probably going to rig up some kind of solar panel system too. Anyone else have ideas that worked or maybe didn't work out so well?

Hi Scott
I, too, am new here. Just ordered an Aspen Classic. I also had considered the RAH as many people have them and have nothing but praise for them.
Hope to see you in a campground someday.

The Aspen Classic was the other one I almost went with. I'm sure you will be happy with yours too. I plan on hitting a lot of camp grounds this summer as long as it doesn't rain every weekend like it did last year.

I live in Ohio and like to camp in western Pa. What part do you live in?
Hope to see you at a camp out soon
See you around the camp fire

Thanks for the welcome!
I am in Clearfield, PA, which is just west of the center of the state. There is lots of good camping in the West but it gets even better as you travel more to the central and northern areas. Check rest stops for the motorcycle touring book and information on 'PA Wilds'.
Maybe see you out there some day.

Scott,
I haven't been around here very long, but have found it to be a great group.
I just got a Roll a Home in November.
There is a thread on the 1800riders.com board that shows some mods that I and a few others have done.
Check it out:

Welcome to the forum Scott.
I'm a newbie too who just purchased a used ROH. I looked at all the current campers and had it narrowed down to Leisure Lite and RAH. I then found a used loaded RAH nearby (slide out, add a room, two doors, ac vent, etc.) and picked it up. I have a thread about it on this forum. If you havn't seen it click on this link:

I've been to Cherry Springs State Park in PA for at least the last four years to attend an astronomy "Star Party" with my telescope.

The ride up from MD includes Hwy 15 which follows the Susquehana River; A beautiful wide river... I turn left off of Hwy 15 to Hwy 6 which also features the "Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania" an awesome young geographic feature. Attached is a picture of me and the canyon...
Send a PM and let's hook up sometime this year...
