Hi Folks,

I do understand that the site is mainly US (you've got a great country to travel in!:D) but maybe someone has visited Scandinavia and want to "chip in".

I'm 50 later this year and am planning a big trip on my bike (GL1100 with "farkles" as you call mods:confused:). My plan is to gather information then try NOT to plan! Land in Denmark then take a second ferry to Norway. Ride up Norway as far as time allows then head into Sweden.

Anyhow, what I think I'd like to do isn't really the point of the post. What tips do YOU have about the tripP^? Anything will be read with interest and some acted upon...

I wish we had more members from Europe, Australia and New Zealand. The three places I'd like to ride someday. For some reason, we just don't seem to attract many from these places.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Nothing here states that you have to motocamp on the North American continent.
