Dusty Boots

This is a nice, quiet, National Forest campground, located 1/2 miles from SR 6, along the Palouse River Rd. The road leading to and through the campground is paved. No Highway traffic noise can be heard.
This campground is situated along the banks of the upper Palouse River, with a few campsites near the slow moving stream/river.
Most sites are wooded, with a few 'open' sites. No 'improved' tent pads.
There are clean, wheelchair friendly vault toilets and water spigots scattered throughout the campground.
There is a campground "Host", who has firewood available for a fee.
We paid $10/night for two tents and two bikes.(June 16/09)
There is a couple of 'nature trails' and an old dam located in the campground and an old 'playground' for the little ones.
While certainly not a 'destination' campground, it more than fits the bill for the touring motorcyclist that happens to be in this area of Idaho and in need of a spot for the night. Wooded sites are fairly private
