Been taking the GS camping for about 5 years now and in 2 gym bag I modified with some velcro and exra nylon Im able to attach the 2 together as a saddle and throw them over the queen seat. On top of the bags goes the sleeping bag (good back support on the ride as well) and on the luggage rack the tent rolled in the pillow covered in a trash bag to keep it dry. The bags (gym bags) are roomy and 1 hold the clothes the other has a trap for under the tent, air mattress, first aid kit, playing cards, bug spray, suntan lotion, toiletry bad, mess kit, esbit stove, and in the front of the bag a rain suit. Still havent found manufactured bags that hold as much that I like as well, and the price $15 each for the bags and some time was money well spent. See pic in my album

Nathan, great looking Suzuki! When I bought my Honda V65 Sabre back in the day it was a toss up between, it and a Suzuki GL. I happened to find a year old Sabre on consignment for a song at a local Honda dealer so I went with it. The 10 second quarter mile times lured me in too! :D

Welcome, Nathan.
That's a good looking set up. I use the 'waterproof' bags from WalMart, $28.00 for two bags, one is 28" long, one 14" long. I can certify that they are waterproof. :)
