I wanted to share a GPS route with y'all....

e are using this route for our Expedition to raise Awareness for ALD and I thought of y'all.

This is the Continental Divide route. Mark Sampson (Big Dog Adventures) gave it to me and I am sure he would not mind if I posted it up here.

I also have the Canada portion if anyone wants it.

I hope y'all are well. I am still on the look out for a DS bike and things have been really moving on here concerning our Jeep Expo. I will post something about it.

I included .gdb, .gpx and a .doc that explains the route a bit.

RIDE SAFE!!!

A group of us used BigDog and Gaspipes GPS tracks to ride the Divide from Antelope Wells, NM to Roosville, MT. Excellent! Also very usefil is the Bicycle Club waterproof maps with a very high level of detail and insight as to what to expect. Think the set of 5 or 6 maps was around $50 but well worth it. Those maps describe camp site locations, possible "escape" routes, store/gas locations, etc. Some perils are noted too. The maps are far to detailed to use for bike navigation because they would require constant stopping to read but they do offer great info as to what to expect. The whole trail was developed by the bicycle clubs going back to the 50's so they are very accurate. Great ride for anyone with the skills and daring do. Good luck.
