Getting ready to head out to Ocala National Forest, Juniper Springs for 4 days of camping. Never been there but others say, very nice. Will be the first trip with new trailer. I can't believe ALL the stuff I can now bring along. Bigger tent, bigger chairs, bigger sleeping bags, etc. Total gross weight of trailer and gear, 248 pounds. I have 22 pounds of tongue weight. Trailer pulld great at highway speeds. Can't really feel it......SCARY!!!!! Will post some pics upon return to show my new camp set up.P^
VERY EXCITED RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!

The rig looks good, but shouldn't you use a more off-road type of tire to go with the GS. :D :D
Have fun and looking forward to the pics, Guy

Ya did a real nice job building your trailer. I'm sure you'll enjoy using it. P^
Trailers are nice, they open up a whole nother dimension to motorcycle camping. You're able to take along lots of things you really wanted to, but just couldn't pack on a motorcycle.
Sure makes the camping experience more enjoyable, especally for the little misses if you have one.
I think bikers pulling trailers is really catching on.
In a campground I stayed at this summer, I counted 27 trailers that had come in, hitched up to bikes, both the cargo style, and campers. I think about a third of the cargo trailers there were home make jobies.

Looks great! And looks like you got the same Coleman sleeping bags we got. They're so soft and cozy.
Wish we could go. :( I think we've done all the camping we're going to do for the year. My brother hooked our Aspen Ambassador to his Blazer today and he's taking it for one last trip to Cave Mountain Lake, VA. I bet he set that thing up a dozen times before he left...practicing!
