I stayed here in early September on my way to Willville bike camp. The campground had just opened the week before and is owned by an independant motorcycle shop about 1/4 mile away. Not an exclusive motorcycle camp but very bike friendly. Rate was reasonale, bathrooms were modern and clean. I camped in one of the "hog pens" with my FJR. There are some primative sites near the river that would be real nice for a group camp area. I would stay here again.

REVISED - Price not reasonable. I am revising this review; looks like they put their prices up since I was there on Sept 10, 2009. I paid $22 for a hog pen site, the web site says it is now $30 in season and $ 25 out of season. Are you kidding me? To sleep on the ground!! I will be checking out Camp Outback on my next trip through Luray; $22 is my limit for a tent site.

These places are gouging the public! I stayed at an RV park in Fla in 03 for SIXTY FIVE bucks a night just to camp a few feet from the ocean..that site was NOT large enough to support a trailer but was truly a tent -sized site and they should have given me a break...when a c/g price becomes almost as high as a mom and pop room, it becomes a joke to stay there...time to set up your tent in the backyard! HAHA!! BTW THAT camping was a once in a lifetime thing..I had my car with me that time.. if I had my bike with me i likely would have gone to Pemaquid park..a kayaker's recommendation

Pretty c/g BTW and you are paying for the scenic camping...
