Wiring Question???????

Need more advise.......................the wiring harness for the bike?? The HF trailer has a 4-wire and I'm reading that I need some type of converter to 5-wire and an isolator so I don't fry the bike's electrical system. I'm wiring my "02 R1150GS ADV. What brand, model and where to get them?

I got mine from U-Haul.Sorry i don't have the part number.

Walmart carries a 6 to 4 converter that does all that is needed and runs about 20 bucks

Most of the online trailer parts stores should have what you would need if you can't find it locally.

One thing to check on would be the "Can bus" (not sure on the spelling of that) system if your bike has it. I have read there are certain ways you have to add accessories so you don't interfere with the system. The guys on here with the BMW's can probably tell you for sure.

I find that most agriculture supply stores have great selections of trailer parts and pieces. And they tend to be decent prices.
