Anyone ever used one of these? I just got mine in. $29.90L Delivered to my door. Looks like it will be a fun addition to the KLR. Check it out at campfiregrill.com
Two piece pole you drive in the ground. Has a charcoal tray that slides on pole and a cook grate with raised sides to keep the brats from rolling off. Even comes with a bag to store it in. I think this will be handy little addition to the camping gear.
Would be interested if anyone has used one...

You might want to carry a hand sledge with you. Often the ground in and around fire rings is like concrete. Sometimes it is concrete.
But it looks like a dandy setup. Let us know how it works.

By the way - Welcome to the forum! I'll be camping in your neck of the woods in October, fourth year I've been to the vintage races at Barber. I sure could use one of those grills there. When I pitch a tent in a place where I can't build a campfire it just seems so ... well, half-camped. Last year we took out the folding firebowl and burned twigs. It was pathetic really, but the best we could do. The Rebel would be welcomed there.

Jerry.. Keep in touch, I am about 15 minutes from the Barber race track. Actually have a good riding friend that will be racing the 60+ group on a 74 CZ. Hope to see you here in October.

So I guess you'll be at the races but no need to camp out, huh? If I bring the steaks and the charcoal and you bring the grill, maybe we can share a meal.
HEY, MacJohnO! Are you reading this?

Sounds good to me! I haven't camped out there in the past but with a few friends around I'm in! Maybe we can get a crowd together. It is a fun weekend for sure!

I set up the kind of campsite that tends to draw a crowd. I'll stay in touch.
