The park itself is very well maintained. There are hot showers and restroom facilities close by to all campsites. You cannot pitch a tent on the beautiful lawns they have separating the campsites as they water the grass frequently.

You must set you tent up on soft gravel areas which wasn't too bad. Sites are level and each has a fire ring w/grill, picnic table and large parking area (gravel). There is ready access to potable water sources from every site.

Not a whole lot of privacy between sites. Most sites have shade trees but some do not which would make it a HOT camping experience in summer. The campground was about 1/3 full.

They have some large raccoons that come in at night to raid your food bags/garbage receptacles. so be aware.

There is a nearby resort at the entrance to the park which has a small general store for essentials if required. The park adjoins a 18 hole golf course that is open to the public which looked wonderful.

There is limited fuel available in the immediate area.
