Campsite reservations

I will be riding in California, Oregon and Washington in September (after the Labor day holiday). Are reservations needed at state/national parks?

Maybe at the bigger parks and campgrounds. After Labor Day I think you'll be fine almost anyplace...You might not get the campground you want but I can't imagine a whole park being full...

The only time I've ever hit a campground that was pretty full was ON labor day weekend at Glacier.. this was on a trip coming from Southern California, up the coast, into Canada and then back south and that was the only time we were close to not finding a spot. In Canada the day before we 'heard' all the campgrounds were full but we pulled into a more primitive one and we lucked out...

So, as Tom said, you will be fine.
