Trailace showed me a towel he used for drying off after showers.
I was always brining normal terry cloth bath towels and they'd stay damp. Even when I'd leave them hanging at the campsite during the days' ride they'd still be damp.
I looked around and found this big towel 27"x50" at campmor for just under $30.
It's not a cheap towel but after trying it out a couple times I'm convinced it's well worth the money. The towel is thin and packs very very small. After drying off, the towel starts drying out immediately and after just handing on the tent or seat of the bike it's very dry in a matter of mins.
It basically reminds me of the chamois you use to dry off your car, similar material only thinner.
