So the time is drwaing near for my trip out west. I will be staying in campgrounds with showers and was wondering, what camp towels you guys use. I bought a cheapo camp towel from Walmart recently and used it at home to dry my hands/arms off as a test and it didn't work very well. I have an Aerostich Techno towel http://www.aerostich.com/catalog/US/Aerostich-Techno-Towel-Rag-cloth-whatever-p-17123.html that I cut in half to use to wipe the dew off the bike seat but never tried it on my body (need to do that). AS also has the Aquis personal camp towels http://www.aerostich.com/catalog/US/Aquis-Personal-Camp-Towel-p-16269.html listed, but I am not sure how they would differ / be better than what I have. I read somewhere of using an Absorber chamois - having 2 - one for the bike and one dedicated for personal use but don't know how that'd work out as the chamois need to stay damp usually and the camp towel can be bungied to the back of the bike and dry out pretty quickly.

So post up what you use to dry off with, where you got it and how you like it.

Thanks for reminding me... I have to do a review on this... I have this one that I got at campmor:

Click for link to campmor (http://www.campmor.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=39174792&memberId=12500226&storeId=226&catalogId=40000000226&langId=-1)

It's not cheap at $27 but it works extremely well, and dries very fast.... it's almost dry by the time you walk from the showers to your site... a normal towel will stay damp forever...

Plus this think packs in almost any nook or cranny you have in your bags.

I have been using an absorber for 4 years now. Just wring it out, stick it back in it's plastic container wet and stuff it back in my bag. There is not enough moisture to dampen the other contentsof the bag. I am happy with this settup.
