Camp Counter Added

I have a mileage counter over on ST Owners and decided that here we need a Camp Counter.

So, let's see how many days we can camp this year.

If you look at the Stats block on the home page, you'll see the number and if you click on it you'll be taken to a page that will rank you by number of days you've camped this year.

To update, go to your usercp link and then in the 'edit your details' link. The counter for you will be at the bottom of the page, it has to be numeric so please enter 3 numbers... 5 would be 005, 30 would be 030..

Okay, how about this.. how many days would you pay for at the station? If you show up Fri and leave Sat you'd only pay for one day, or night actually...

For me, if I don't sleep there it's not official.

Me and the kiddo didnt have time to go anywhere and she wanted to camp in the back yard so can I count that as I did sleeep out there

I might just add a rule for all the retired riders. ;) Lets see if your retired that gives you 365 days to camp but us working stiffs only get (52 weekends X 2 = 104 days plus 10 days vacation = 114 days) 114 days to camp. :eek: So if your retired then your total camping nights will be divided by 3.5 just to make it fair. :D

If you divide by 5 and he camped every day that would give him 73. I think dividing by 5 might be a bit much. :D

Ah .. Come on now, You forgot to figure in the fact that us "retired" rider/campers are now on a fixed income. We may have the time now, but not the cash flow. It takes $$ to travel ... gas, food, camping fees, motorcycle upkeep.
I'd say it's a trade off.

Maybe us retired folks should approach the powers to be and see if they can spring some cash to support a RETIRED STOC-CAMP BAIL OUT so we can ride more, camp more and support the economy. :D

That's Beemberchef - he and his dog have been on the road for a while.. so, I'm assuming that his number will be correct by the end of the year. However, I did adjust it up to today.

So this really raises a good question for some of us living on the road... is it camping? Is it all camping meaning... I would like to think so...

I didn't track last year (probably in the range of 60 nights) but I've got an early start this year with 2. I'm cheap and I like to STealth camp. All ya need is a piece of dirt big enuff to lay down.

I save my money for gas 'n tars.
