Well I am going to try this again. Anyone interested in a ride or camp out in WV, Pa., Ohio,or Kentucky.
I was hoping someone would come up with some suggestions. I thought Hawks Nest WV, or Seneca rock, or black-water falls WV. In Pa. maybe Bradford . Well I was hoping for suggestions. We could include Kentucky, I always wanted to camp in Daniel Boon Nat forest.I just mentioned those states so they could be close if you only wanted to make a ride out of it.

I would be interested but have a hard time stringing enough days together to get that far from home. BTW... you had asked earlier (or maybe it wasn't you) about the Dan Boone Nat Forest. The Princess and I were over that way last Saturday. We didn't do much of it... 421 S out of Berea and 66 back toward I-75 before we had to head home. It was a nice ride. Still no idea on the campground situation.

I stayed here early last year:

It was a decent little campground. I was the only one there in a tent. Lots of RV's at the place. Its just north of Frankfort, KY.

I'm planning a ride through those parts and plan to camp all the way. Haven't hammered out the details yet, but basic plan is: Leave Louisiana May 4th or 5th. Camp through Arkansas and end up near Lebanon, Mo. for a campout May 8,9,+10th. Head east through Kentucky and W. Virginia to Skyline Drive in Virginia. South from there down the BlueRidge Parkway and surrounding areas. North Ga. and south Tn. to the Natchez Trace and back to Louisiana. Dates open and Ideas welcome. Meet you on the road if any of that fits into your schedule.

I'm building a HF trailer to haul behind my ST and I need to do a shake down trip on it when it's finished. I was thinking about somewhere in WV or VA, but PA is not out of the question. When are you thinking about going?

:Popcorn Waiting for date, place, and time. I've got many events planned this year and if you come up with something that will work with the schedule, I'll be there.

The week of the 11th is good for me if that is enough recovery time. Good luck under the knife!!!
Anyone have a good camping site in mind?
