Hi,

i would like to invite any riders out there in the So CA area to attend our FREE dual sport riders clinic at my shop in Orange, CA.

Here are some of the details on the event:

‘Dual sport/Adventure motorcycle Clinic for riders’

The ‘Clinic’ will feature various Experts in their field of dual sport/adventure riding who’ll be on hand to share their expertise and answer questions on products & services as well as concerns regarding riding issues. This NO COST event gives Riders a rare opportunity to get first hand information on all things ‘dual sport worthy’ including:

Technical advice/mechanics
New dual sport/adventure models
Add-on equipment/modifications
MSF approved safety instruction both off-road AND street/safety inspection
Riding gear
Guided motorcycle tours
Survival training
Camping accessories
GPS Navigation/Maps/Roll charts
Sound meter systems/Exhaust noise level testing

AMA District 37 Dual sport committee members will also be there in force with updates on their latest efforts regarding ongoing federal land regulations, the benefits of membership and more!

Motorcycle Dealers: longtime locals Irv Seaver BMW, Orange County Honda, Z-Racing KTM dealer & Bellflower Motor Sport Suzuki & Yamaha dealers will be on hand proudly featuring their latest models of dual sport/adventure bikes. Experienced mechanics will be available to answer tech questions.

Instruction: Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) approved trainers ‘Coach 2 Ride’ will address off-road safety technique as well as the ‘Honda Rider Education Center’ who will address street safety technique. Additionally California Highway Patrol Public Affairs Coordinator Jennifer Hinks will be on hand offering assistance in an ‘unofficial non-ticketing capacity’ to update rider attendees on the latest in motorcycle riding regulations.

Outdoor Recreational Equipment: REI will be on hand featuring dual sport ‘worthy’ ultra light supplies & equipment including tents, sleeping bags, cooking supplies, water purification, survival gear and more.

Survival Training; the experienced and infamous instructors at ‘Dirt Time Survival Training’ Alan Halcon, Dude McLean and Christopher Nyerges (author; How to Survive anywhere) will share their knowledge & give tips on how to improvise, to survive, under any circumstances in the great outdoors.

Motorcycle Tour Guides ‘Trail Boss Tours’ offers some of the best guided adventure motorcycle tours through the Baja Peninsula, Colorado, Utah the High Sierras or Death Valley; from novice to advanced.

Modifications & Add-on’s.‘Progressive Suspension’ leaders in KLR650 performance suspension will display their 420 series shock system for the rider who wants to take ‘the big Kawasaki’ somewhere further than their local convenience store.

Maps & Roll Charts/GPS Navigation; Expert Paul Flanders, recent past president AMA Dist. 37 DS committee with what’s new in Roll charts & maps; along with Dan Yuknavage, AMA Dist. 37 GPS coordinator and go-to guy for anything & everything GPS, will be on hand along with Map & Roll Chart

Sound Testing Technology; Chris Real of ‘DPS Technical’ is the sound master and industry expert consultant for updates on the ever evolving technology of DB sound meter testing

Motorcycle Clubs: AMA Dist. 37 DS committee President Kieth Huff, will address the AMA’s latest advocacy efforts regarding federal land issues and discuss how, as recreational comrades riders can benefit from the association.

Thanks Joe, I will do a post over there.

This is something that I have thought about for a long time. It is great to be able to take one of my passions and make it part of my everyday business. I like to be involved with the motorcycle community.

We have worked very hard to put a top notch group of experts together for this event. Anyone that attends should find someone that can make their Dual sporting better.

Very timely, Tom. I talked my neighbor into getting something besides his cruiser & now he is shopping for dual sports. We'll be there for sure. This should push him over the edge.
