Kerrville Schreiner Park

Hey, I saw where the motocampers have stayed here on occasion and I was wondering what sections you camped in. I'm headed there this weekend and want a nice quiet area away from the river and the noise. We'll be in tents with our bikes. Any recommendations?

The area across the street from the ranger station is pretty quiet... however, it is a park very close to the city so there are no guarantees.

I've never camped on the river side of the park but last year a few guys did and it was cold so that usually keeps the city folk away.. LOL

Lots of deer on the other side and the restrooms/showers are in good shape.

That'll work, thanks Mellow! We're heading out Friday afternoon and will get there close to dark. I'll bring some deer snacks!
I know it's short notice, but anyone wanting to camp and do some hill country riding this weekend is welcome to join us! The weather is suppose to be 80s/50s, perfect camping weather!
