I really should mow my lawn

Mow your lawn???? Up here on the north coast I haven't even had to think about getting the lawn mower running yet! Besides, doesn't cutting the lawn limit time spent on more funner things??? Like: riding, planning to ride, camping, planning to camp, packing for camping, etc.

On the other hand, keeping the lawn cut makes the wife happy........hmmmm.
I recommend you cut the lawn Joe.;)

Anyone want to volunteer to come walk behind my 20" mower for a couple hours?? My wife did it the other day (injured ankle = can't walk) but that won't happen many times.... :) :)

It may be good exercise but when it's 100 degrees this summer it WILL NOT BE FUN!!!! :D :D :D

Joe what you need are a couple of teenage boys like mine! Only thing is you have to feed, clothe, pay car insurance, make sure they grow up with decent morals,,,,, guess it would just be cheaper to cut it yourself HUH!

Took me two years to kill the bermuda grass in the front yard after we bought this house... now the yars is granite, cactus and desert flowers. No mowing allowed... If anyone wants to sit on the grass they can go to the 5 acre city park across the street. :-)

Well, I went from moaning about mowing it to getting up this morning and getting some sod to re-sod part of my back yard... geez... when on call, garden.

Here's my barometer for lawn maintainance ....

Do you recall the scene in Jurassic Park II, when the Velociraptors are chasing the humans through the high grass towards the demolished compound? Remember the overhead shot of the grass parting,as the beasties were chasing, but you can't see the beasties?

Well sir, when I let the dogs out in the yard, I watch ... if the little one mimics that particular scene, then I get the mower out the next weekend. Or maybe the one after that ..... :D

LOL.... good approach... I may have to adopt that one... it does leave more time for riding, or thinking about riding... or planning to ride.. or cleaning the bike..
