I don't still have this bike or trailer but I really liked the Uni-go.

I know some have had issues with them but I never did in the short time I had it.

HERE (http://mellow.smugmug.com/photos/58246496-L.jpg)is where you can get one, now available in the U.S.

That is a very sweet set up. Why does it have to cost so much????
Oh well....... I'll just keep saving my boxtops.;)

Seems to me, if they sold them for $1,500 they'd sell them like crazy... maybe they are anyway.

$1500 including the hitch would be acceptable.
I checked the Uni-Go website and watched the promo video.....sigh.
Those things look very stable behind a bike.

They are, I've hit the twisties with that one and never held back... never knew it was behind me and a friend following just laughed at the fact I was going so fast with a trailer..

Thought I'd share another Uni-go picture.

Friend of mine (Jim Barton) kept his little addition a secret. We were meeting for a 3 day stay at Carlsbad State Beach. He'd only had it a week and was able to get it painted and done for this weekends Trip.

He did a GREAT! job. Asking how it pulls he answered it has issues. Had all weekend to talk and figure it out.

Amazing how good both bikes look in yellow.

If you have lots of time and patience -- try this.... ;)

It took me a few months and way more $$$$ then I guessed it would but I'd do it again now that I have the finished product.:) :)

OH, Uni-GO is worth every dime they get. If I'd charged myself for labor (even at a reduced hourly rate) this thing would easily have gone over $2500....

Thanks Blues Trav (Keith).
Definitely still a work in process. Working on a small rack for the front. 1/8" 6061 T6, approximately 10" x 8". Got any ideas for the shape of the cut-outs?

Gold Rush-A Goldwing friend of mine tried a 1 wheeler using 1500 bags. It developed a weave at 60 mph and he couldn't get it to settle down. He gave up and went to a 2 wheeler.

Hey Ron,
Yup, I had some stability issues at first too.. I've pretty much worked them out now. I have over 3000 miles on Nugget now. I am in the process of making some changes to get even better performance. Still a work in progress......:D :D :D :D

I own two Uni-go's, wife and I pull them behind Kawasaki Concours. I am guessing I have 30K on mine and the wife 10K on hers. The only problem was a flat tire and I plugged it and it has 4K on the plug. The thing that I learned about the trailers was loading them properly, the CORRECT tire pressure (they are really finicky about that).

If a trailer is swaying at 60mph more than likely the tongue is not long enough or the distance between the centerline of the axle and the end of the hitch. What makes the Uni-go's work so well is that the tire is mounted to the rear. I have seen many single wheel homegrown trailers with the centerline of the axle under the box (not rearward enough) and the things sway all over the place.
