I was in the market for a new helmet and came upon the Gmax GM68S full face at a dealer in Oregon. I tried it on and it fit my square forehead nicely. The price was great and WebBikeWorld named it it's Helmet of the Year.
So my wife bought it for me for my birthday and I had a good test ride in BC a couple of weeks ago. About 700 miles. It's awesome. Very quiet compared to my Nolan N100, amazing venting, great fit, and good looking. It has something I thought my be a little gimmicky that worked great. A row of red LEDs along the back of the helmet that can be turned on at night. They can be set to be on, slow flash, or a faster flash mode. According to my riding buddies they really made me show up on the I-5 in the dark. The helmet came with a clear and a tinted shield, a shield bag, and helmet bag. It has a Coolmax removable liner with adjustable cheek pads. Space for earphones. It's DOT compliant also.
For less than $120 I got a helmet that I am very happy with and highly recommend. You can see the pictures of it haning off my handlebar in my BC photo album.
