. We (my wife and I) have stayed in this campground once last year over the labor day holiday. It is a VA State Park campground. The park is within walking distance of the beach. The facilities are clean with host water. has a camp store. It is located in Virginia Beach VA. I recommend this for anyone moto camping. There are some semi-primitive sites and full hook ups for camper trailers. Since this is very busy CG, reservations are a must. During the busy season, your relaxation may depend on your neighbors. But the staff is very willing to "calm" down rude guest to the point of making them leave or closely monitor them if too many other neighbors complain of their actions. We had to ask for this assistance on a group of 15 campers at one site with 6 cars. They refused to keep quite or even go to sleep one night. The next day the CG staff informed them that any more complaints and they would have to go...so no more noise from them. KUDOS to the staff! Overall a good campground! This is a very congested area of VA but the CG is not too loud and you can actually relax if you are near the water and away from the main road. All the sites are sandy so a tent will be very comfortable.
