Here's a fine set of Canadian spruce utensils.
They were made by two young fellers 10 and 11 years old.
A couple hours around a camp-fire with locking blade jack-knives
and they had something to be proud of for years to come.
The fork was the hardest to make.
Functionally, they work great, but you won't cut or fork much more
than soft butter.

Soon to come: fresh picked fiddleheads steamed over a fire in a
coffee can. Goes good with pan-fried trout.
