Back in 2005, This was not on our way to Sturgis, but when the wife & I left Grants during the Fire & Ice Rally. the first time, we went to Santa Fe and stayed a couple of nights. We wanted to see the town and the ruins at the Bandellier National Monument. The campground was nice and it serves pizza at night. It rained real hard when we pulled in and tryed to set up camp but it didn't last long. The wind blew so hard the girls in the tent next to ours blew down. That Time-Out tent trailer we hve held its own.......They've got RV hookups and showers, course its KOA.....Coming home we stayed on Highway 25 south all the way to Highway 60 west, that was a beautiful ride. then once on 60 we headed home..........
