If you can sleep through anything then this campsite for overnight is fine for you....just west of highway 99 north of Bakersfield on Lerado Highway theres a KOA and a very busy road. Also an airstrip across the road from the campground which lies in the flight path and between the planes fliing low over the campground and the big rigs jake brakeing down the road, you won't sleep much........but its got hot showers and a swiming pool which closes at 10pm, but nobody pay any attention to that...the poeple that run the place leave for the night and go home so theres no one there during the night to run the place if something comes up.....it use to be our half way point but I think we'll stay in tehachapi...............they've got cabins and grassy campsites, its nice except for the noise at night when you've got to ride all the next day...........

Ride safe

There's a bunch of National Forest north of Bakersfield with free campgrounds. No amenities but I carry with whatever I need.
