That looks like the never before seen last picture taken by the Grizzley man.
Are you guys coming through Colorado? If so you've got a free steak and a beer waiting for you.

That really isn't much different than how I'm waken up every morning now.

Free steak and beer? We may have to reroute our trip home! I've been known to drive from western KY to Chicago just to get good pizza! :p
John I can see right now we are going to get along great.! :D

Im with you on the pizza. I can make it pizza and beer but it will have to be Colorado pizza.
If you draw a line between Kentucky and Alaska, it goes right through my house. Oh yeah I forgot your not taking an airplane.
Well, if you find yourself nearby, the offer is there.

Now that's funny... in a 'I'm glad I'm not there' sorta way...
Mac... didn't you have one of these alarms go off when you were in AK?

Actually I did not see what slammed the side of my tent in Watson Lake at 4 minutes past midnight, but it definately got my attention. By the time I unzipped my sleeping bag and tent door and fly, whatever it was that slashed my tent fly and ripped the mosquito netting was long gone. I did let out a yell that had my vocal cords hurting for a couple of days before I started all the unzipping. The locals I talked with said it was probably a young black bear. If it had been a grizzly, I wouldn't be talking about it, 'cause they don't scare off with a yell.
