This morning we went into the AAA office to get maps for our I-40 ride to Mr. Guys get together in Oklahoma next month.
Mind you, this is AAA...the travel experts.
The lady (well into her 60s, not some dumb kid) is doing great pulling out maps for Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, and Texas.
Then she pulls out an Oklahoma City map and hands it to us.
My husband reminded her that we need an Oklahoma State map, not an Oklahoma City map.
She says..."Oklahoma is not a state"...totally serious.
He says (trying not to laugh), "Yes it is".;)
She says, "No, its not".
Then a light bulb went on and she said her sister was going to just kill her (who lives in Oklahoma City).:o
We walked out on a beet red AAA employee with an Oklahoma State map in hand.

Well, according to the AAA lady, you don't exist.
But I now hold proof in my hands that there is an Oklahoma...verified by Rand-McNally.
I'm gonna take a photo of the "Welcome to Oklahoma" sign when I get there to show her when I get back.:p

Texas became a state in 1845. After years of Yankees abusing us, we created Oklahoma in 1907, so we could have someone to look down on.
