Can't seem to get on Trip Report. So here go. I think this is my first post, I have spent some time here for the last 2 year or so. I want to thank all for the help I have got from all of you. I made my first over night trip, to SE Oregon, down to Jorden Valley and camp over night at Antelope Res. The first time I had camp in a tent in 35 years. It all went well and I am going to try going next week going up into Washington, for 2 or 3 night. I am doing the Dam Tour. I have got all 8 dams in Ore.now I need 5 more in Wash. to get my 8 up there. I do most of my trip by my self. So it has taken some time to get going. All of you in the Northwest, check out www.damtour.com and maybe get on the tour next year. It some thing you can do by your self or with friends. I spent most of my time over on ST-owners.com. I hope to post more camping trips soon. Ritch:tent6:

Ritch, I moved this over to the OR Trip section.
That looks like a nice place to camp.
How do you like that style of tent? I stated with one like that which was okay for a couple trips but ended up needing something a little bigger. Is that a 1-person or 2-person tent?

The tent is a 2 man Coleman EXPONENT INYO-2. Pick it up for $40.00 on a close out. It should do for now. But may look at a self standing one, as the ground was very rockie and had hard time geting the stake in. Will have better stake next trip. Ritch :tent6:

Welcome,
I have that same tent and it's worked well for me, but I need a smaller tent due to small packing space.
