I found this chair on the internet. I wanted a chair with a back that packed small. The guy who developed and patented it lives 45 miles from me in Solon, Iowa. I phoned him and found where I could see one and try it out.
It weighs about 8 pounds and sets up rather easily. It is very comfortable to sit in. The legs and leg supports disconnect at their midpoints and the upper and lower halves are connected together with shock cords. I've had some difficulty breaking it down, folding it up, and getting it back in the bag. That's why I rate satisfaction a 4. It's a tight dense package. I expect that with some practice I'll be able to do it hassle-free. It cost me $36.99 plus Iowa tax. I think that's a pretty good deal since I was very close to ordering a Kermit chair for $115 plus shipping.
