Went out on a midweek over-nighter to Big M campground, located on Tablerock lake, around 35 miles west of Branson,Mo.Off the beaten track, easy to get to with good paved roads.Great drive!! Lots of amenities for those not wanting to "rough-it".
Within Facility

Really great as I believe I was the only one there in the non-RV area.Good shake-down trip for a couple of new tents.

Welcome!

I love SW Mo and NW Ar. As good a place to ride as anywhere else.

Thanks for the welcome:tent1: guys,

I have already picked up some great tips from this site, including the Cabela's duffel bag I saw one of you useing. Was able to fit all my gear in the 25in. bag.Thats the "opening" size, the over all length is really about 30in.It is really great for me as my cruiser has yet to be outfitted with saddle bags, sissy bar,or luggage rack(but I think I might see them coming,I'll try to contact Santa). My new tents include my Coleman Exponent and some no-name cheap dome style I bought for the kids. They both worked great,I put up my gear in the dome. The Exponent is really small and I have noticed many of you with 2-3 man or larger tents. Not a bad tent for a start but think I too will be looking for something that would hold both my gear and I in the event of a heavy downpour. Will continue to watch for more advice, and will post any new campground sites if they look good.

Hope all of you south of here survived Ike without much damage,

Ozarkcowboy
