I just wanted to show my Uni-go trailer I picked up last Tuesday .
I seen one that someone towed into Kerrville a couple of Decembers ago for a camping event from East texaws (digger?)and I kept thinking about one.
I purchased a two wheeled trailer to see if I liked towing a trailer at all (its for sale now on ebay) I towed it twice just local for overnight camping .
It was ok but towing I could really tell it was there.see it in the mirrors and hear it rolling behind me.
So my friend that loves craigs list was searching and came up wit hUni-Go in New Mexico. and better the owner was coming here to Austin it was also what I thought was a fair price.
So next thing I own a Uni-Go trailer and it matches my ST1300 .
I towed it about a hubndred miles so far and I had to keep checking that it was still behind me as it disapears after you start moving .
Now sitting still or backing up I know its there a little but after I started moving it was pretty hard to tell .
It rides pretty bouncy or stiff empty but 50 LBS made it ride better
Bottom line is I am happy so far and you may see me at a camping event or two .
I also just recieved my seat back from Spencers seat mods with the Long Distance mod .Report to follow but he went above and beyond as he always does and is highly recommended
I took some pictures with my phone

Yes I have started to like having too much gear LOL
Though I do find the need for a air mattress more often than not anymore I should be able to put a weeks worth of stuff plus camping gear in that trailer .Leaves more room in the side bag s for new T shirts .
I am looking forward to Nov and my Daughter is planning to come also .
Her husband just bought a used concours .Its old but apeared to run well. If he gets a new tire on the rear I think he may come also

Mike, I don't understand your statement about the trailer brakes. I didn't have an option for trailer brakes on my Unigo. If you are worried about the ABS package on your bike, give the guys at Unigo or Bushtec a call. They can tell you if you need an isolator for your wiring. I didnt use one on my non-ABS when I hooked it up. I do have an isolator on the Wing, but only because it came with the Bushtec trailer hitch.

You are right the uni-go doesnt have brakes.
I meant ST brakes as I just need to have the wiring done and was looking for color codes, advice, ect .

I don't have my manual out here in CA so I can't help there. The green wires are grounds. Ehe colors on the Wing are different than the ST.

Hey mello do they make red ones ?
Its more room than I really need but I want a tent I can stand up on so that means more space taken up by poles at least .
Should help in the comfort at least and I can push the trailer inot the tent LOL:rolleyes:

Lately I've been thinking about getting a more road worthy bike as a second bike for the road trips and an older large bike is something I've been thinking about too, something cheap enough to pay cash for has a certain appeal.

And I have been thinking of a dual purpose bike for the shorter trips on not so good roads LOL

This is my old ST and the Uni-go.
FYI: If anyone ever needs complete installation details. I had documented it for the original manufacture way back when they first entered the US market.
I eventually added the Givi box and it was a sweet set up. Only thing was that NY does not have small MC trailer plates, so I registered it, photographed the plate and shrunk it down to MC size. No one ever picked up on it.
If anyone comes across a used one...I am looking for another now. Also a Givi Maxi
FYI: The pic of the bike in the trailer show (behind the flags). That was taken 15 minutes before the bike and I would be hit by a cage marking the end of my first ST

I saw you post at STO and was coming over here to see if he still had it... LOL
That would be cool to paint the same pattern on the trailer to match your prev trailer and now new ST.

Or ImRubicon could return the favor for that rear seat I gave him at lddave's BBQ last year....Call it an even trade for the UNi-Go?
Well, now that I think about it... That would be a bit of a lopsided trade......:think1:
:D
Sure wish I could afford something fancy like that.... but I'm actually eyeballing the one from Harbor Freight...simple/Cheap. Just need to see a hitch on an ST first...
