Recommendations for a down sleeping bag needed ! ! !

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm planning to do some moto-camping this summer and I have been looking for a summer sleeping bag. :)

There are two choices that I have been looking at
1) Lafuma warm'n light 800G down (650 fill down) rated at 30 degrees
2) Marmot Atom (850 fill down) rated 5 to 40 degrees.

Anyone had any experience with these?::rolleyes:

Both pack about the same and about a little more than 1 pound.
The Lafuma can be combined with another sleeping bag. Like the idea but dont know if it very practical with mummy type bags. The Marmot is half zipper.

Wouldn't mind hearing from experienced users. :D

Also I have had both synthetic and down bags. I prefer down bags :) :)

Thanks for the help

I have the Mountain Hardwear down 'upgrade' bag which can be used inside another bad to increase the rating for colder weather or alone. It has a 45 degree rating and packs very small. I prefer this for a summer bag.

Sorry I don't have any experience with the others.

Campmor usually has some great deals here:

Don't have any experience with these two bags but, you would be very surprised at how roomy two mummy bags are when zipped together. If you ever think you may want to do this, I highly recommend it! Huh, huh huh!! (spoken with a French accent)

Don't have any experience with these two bags but like to use my down bag in the summer over my synthetic. My bag is rated at 35 degrees so on the cool summer night in mountains it still keep me warm,. But most of the time I just sleep on the bag.
