going to Big Bend

Woohoo! Departure time is nearly here, and I'm ready to roll.
I'm leaving for Big Bend early Wednesday morning. Even though
I've been there many times, I still love the trip out there.
There will be four R1150GS's and one F650GS. I'll try to take some
interesting photos for a report when I get back.

What roads will you be riding in the park?

We will be camping on my friend's land near Terlingua and leaving from there everyday.
We don't have any set plans, but the one road I definitely want to ride is the one from Marfa to Ruidosa. Since my friend lives out there most of the year he has offered to take us on some of his favorite roads. If we have time we will probably ride Old Ore and River Rd.

Being on GSs you surely have more riding options than those of us on Highway bikes and Big Bend is a great area for that.

Can't wait to see your pics. I'm heading out in a week for that area so don't tear it up too bad and try to leave some for me. River road is my favorite. Although, some of those over the hill blind corners are a little tricky.

I did that road a few years back, I think there are two or three small water crossing.
