Hi Everyone!
I am leaving for the National Parks of Southern Utah and wanted to ask if anyone has any good info for campgrounds. I am planning on visiting all, west to east.
Thanks for any information!:)

I have been researching camping facilities in the Utah area and found if you want a shower, private campgrounds offer them. All of the BLM campgrounds and National park campgrounds that I have looked at do not offer showers. If a shower is not a deal maker for you the BLM and NP campgrounds offer a more scenic camping spot usually. Lots of information here.

Thanks for the info Danny K! I'm heading out tomorrow for Zion first and then east. From there I'm not sure where I'll go. I have two weeks for this solo trip.:) A friend just got back from a trip to the area and gave me a bunch of good info. I'll post some info and pictures as I go.

It's been a while ('99) since I last camped in southern Utah, but I have some good memories of time spent there.
I camped in Zion and Bryce, enjoyed both. Also camped in a small (NF?) campground along hwy 14 near Cedar Breaks, which was decent.
Also camped in Capitol Reef, and for some reason really liked it. Maybe it was the river adjacent to the campsite, the deer roaming through the grounds, or waking to snow in the morning.
Elected to get a motel room in Moab so I could enjoy a good shower, good food, and more importantly, lots of cold beer at the brew pub. But I did explore Canyonlands (awesome) and Arches.
You're in for a treat, enjoy and take lots of pics to share with us.

Utah is one of my favorite places to ride. You’re fortunate to have the opportunity to get out there this time of year. Zion, Brice, Escalante and Arches are just the beginning of the great Utah adventure. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the opportunity to camp; I did have a riding experience that I’ll remember for the rest of my life. It was just amazing. Good luck on your ride and have fun…..
