I just came accross a Kwik Kamp Belair model camper trailer at a very reasonable price. I was very impressed with the simplicity and functional aspects of the trailer. I would guess this trailer with gear would weigh in at around 300 lbs. I am very concerned about pulling a this, I have no experience towing with a motorcycle. The previous owner towed this with a late model Goldwing and told me he was actionally more stable with trailer in tow. I have read accounts however of people being killed after a tire blowout on the trailer, which would adversely affect the motorcycle, pulling it hard to one side. However, knowing that there are thousands of trailer being towed, I would appreciated ANY FEEDBACK regarding towing a trailer like this with a 2000 model year ST1100...Safety is my main concern, I just need to hear if this doable realizing various driving conditions ( Wind, rain, mountain grades, etc)

Thanks in advance!

I have no experience with an 1100, but I did pull my Bunkhouse with my 1300 for over 6,000 miles last summer. I had brakes on my trailer, so had no problem with stopping. I did have to raise the RPM's more when leaving a stop, and my gas mileage suffered some, but the 1300 got the job done.
