This is a tentative review of a 10,000-acre vacation/dude ranch that's giving some thought into taking on biker campers. Brewster is nicely located in the NE Sand Hills area...definitely not "pool table" riding! Brewster is located near or on exceptionally good two-lane highways midway between the I-70/80 superslabs.

(check out the Uncle Buck's Lodge website (http://www.unclebuckslodge.com) for the panoramic view from the deck)

Uncle Buck's excellent location just across the road from the pristine Loup River (swimming, tubing, etc.), the excellent lodge w/deck and restaurant and the friendly owners welcome bike campers. They have facilities for minor repairs, there are toilets, etc., in the lodge. Uncle Buck's has had bikers at the lodge and welcomes them, so now they're considering adding more amenities that bike campers would like.

If you come up straight north from Arnold, NE to Dunning you'll see signs saying, "Welcome to The Middle of Nowhere" and ride a really neat secondary road (http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=114508929871567670173.00000111c7f77bb966de8&z=8) with a bunch of curves and "thank you ma'ams". But it's closed once a year for the Sandhills Open Road Challenge (http://www.sorcrace.com/). Don't even think about taking that scenic Arnold-Dunning route on that weekend.
