Hi All,

Had to share this with you, this is my son Jeffrey. He got his learners permit last week and has 120 miles in the saddle so far. Here's a picture of him on his XT250 on an Oklahoma back road today. The First Gear riding gear will be here tomorrow and there's some Wolfman Luggage on the way. We'll be riding together for a while, I told him I wouldn't take him for his drivers test till he has 1500 miles, but if he learns fast I may cut him some slack on the miles. Maybe not just so he'll still want me to ride with him.

Congrats Guy, I had hoped my nephew would have gotten the bike bug and we could be out riding, but he never got past his teenage dirt bike stage.

Guy you are a lucky man! Every time my 18 year old gets on a dirt bike, moma is all over him griping ( about the dangers) so much he has about lost interest. I still have hope though.

Thanks for the kind words and Ya, they grow up to fast sometimes. Mama was against Jeff having a bike too, but she finally gave in when I explained to that it would be better he learn now while he's young and under our control (sort of) than to wait till he's 21, out of our house, and he buys a GSX1000R because the salesman tales him it's what he needs and he gets in a high speed wreck because he doesn't have the experience he needs for a big bike. After thinking about that for a few months she gave up. I'm hoping our first trip will be to the Talimena Drive in a couple weeks.

Hi All,

An update here. Now that Jeffrey has been ridng a while little sis, Nikki, age 10, has decided she wants to ride to. So tonight was our first ride together. We went to Sonic in Prague, Ok, about 10 miles away, she was so excited when we got there. So now I guess it's back to the internet for some more riding gear. She already says she wants to go on a trip with us, but I'm guessing it will need to be a short one. Here's a pic Mom took when we got home.
