Washington to Redwood Nat Park

So I am taking my first motorcycle camping trip in the next few weeks. We are going from Olympia, WA to the Redwood National Park area in northern CA. The plan is to go South on I-5 to Portland, West to Hwy 101, then South to the Park.

Advice on good local campgrounds and scenic riding routes in the area would be appreciated.

That is a Great trip that we have done twice and would like to do again.

As far as places to stay, I highly recommend the KOA in Crescent City, Ca and also the KOA in Waldport, Or.
