In an attempt to provide the correct data...are we wanting reviews that are "ride reports" or simply review of parks with motorcycle accessibility/benefits as the focal point?
The reason I ask is that I have been to many parks and remember them well, but being new to cycling I have only attended a very small amount on the bike so far. So while I could provide input as to road conditions, parking, nearby roads that might be fun to ride...I have yet to actually provide on-bike experience.
I suspect that it probably doesn't matter either way but since you are experienced, perhaps there is better perspective while being on two wheels that a cager might miss.
Anyhow, I look forward to making good use of this site, contributing where I can and hopefully will get to meet some of ya'll while out camping.
Thanks!

Doobage,
Welcome to the site. Any and all input is appreciated. We have a section for ride reports, and a section for campground reviews. So, if you are familiar with a campground and want to do a review feel free. However, try to do it from a perspective as if you were going to be there on a motorcycle.

Hi,
Thank You for putting up this discussion board!
I've been on a 'Ride-About' for about 2 years now using a 2003 ST-1300.
The 2000 Hayabusa with over 80,000 miles just isn't quite as comfortable.
There is no cage in the stable any more.
Between 1/2 to 2/3 of the days on the road are 'camping' at night.
Daylight is for riding, exploring, wandering, and wondering.
After a couple of loops around the country, including Alaska where I call home, I've come to have some preferences about places to stay. Being stuck in Manhatten, Philedelphia, or any large urban area as darkness falls is not included in the list...
Hope to find current campsite status reports from travelers who drop a line at this discussion board.
The reviewiers rating scale is good. How is that incorporated in a member post?
Suffering from CRS (Can't Remember Stuff :) , a central, searchable resource by riders is welcme.

I think this is a great idea!! My wife and I both ride ST 1300's and we're heading toward retirement so this will give us some great ideas on where to spend our time.

Welcome John
I?m working on getting my wife to ride with me as well. We backpacked and camped together for years but not while riding. Just a few more years and the kids will all be off to school. (College)
Don?t forget to fill us in on your ride and the camping along the way. I have never camped in Seattle but did cut across it once. You will have to do some campground reviews in your area for us.
Retirement sounds good and I?m so looking forward to it and riding with my wife. :tent5:
