Sense this sub forum was my idea here's my first recipe.

One of my favorites is 1 package beef Ramon noodles, 1 can of cooked roast beef, 1 can of your favorite mixed vegetables. Cook the noodles, with or without the flavor pack, then add the beef and vegetables. Heat it all up and if 1-up eat out of the pot. Easy, fast, and one pot cleanup.

Thanks, Guy

Did this recipe this past w/e at Davis Mtns State Park. There were 4 of us so I used 2 packages of Ramen Noodles, 2 cans of Dinty Moore Beef Stew, and two cans of Progesso Southwestern Style veggie soup. We drained the water off the noddles after they were done then mixed in the beef flavor packs. Drained the juice off the soup, and heated it and the stew in another pan. We had two stoves. Then mixed it all together. Served 4 very nicely along with some wheat Ritz Crackers. We used throw-away dishes and utensiles so just a 2 pot clean-up and big serving spoon.
It was great, but then everything tastes great when you are out like that.

I agree, even when I cook, it tastes pretty good on a motocamping trip.

I may use this one next month. I did try the ramen noodles with some tyson packaged chicken but it was a little too bland.. I'm thinking the stew is a better idea.

We have cooked some chicken spagetti a couple of times when camping. We buy the packaged and pre-cooked white meat chicken, use a can of Rotel Tomatoes, small jar of Cheese Whiz, and small can of cream of mushroom soup. Of course noodles, we like angel hair pasta. With a salad this feeds 4 people. Usually just a one large pot clean up.
We just boil the noodles, then drain the water. Add the cheese whiz, soup and rotel tomatoes to the hot noodles. We have done when it was cold with two pots one for sauce and one for the noodles.

Sounds like a well proven recipe that I need to try. I'm not a fan of Ramen noodles as they have a huge amount of salt in the packet. It sounds like there's enough flavor in the roast beef and veggies to make it taste great. Add a dash of red rooster sauce and I'm elbowing my way to the pot. ;)

:DI hope you read my reply on the other thread. We actually use the individual coffe bags with our tent camping setup. Our coffee pot for the 1 burner we just boil water. We use a regular old electric perculator with grounds for our Bunk House setup. The bags don't take up as much space grounds & container & scooper would. I can't tell much difference the Folger's bags are pretty good. If I want it stronger I just use 2 bags.

Wow, what a setup! You guys sure know how to cook it up at Ft Davis! That pot of stew looks sooooo good!
How was the weather there? I imagine it was pretty hot last weekend. Did you go cool off in the Balmorhea spring pool?

We heard up at the observatory Saturday night at the Star Party it got up to 102 that day. At night it really cooled down probably to the 60's. I know I got up at 6 AM and it was down right chilly. But when were breaking camp and the sun got over the mountain it got hot fast.
We didn't make it to the pool at Balmorhea, but when we cam by it Sunday morning there were already people in it. I already felt like riding the bike over there and getting off the bike in full gear than get on the bike and ride off. You would be dry after about 30 or 40 miles, but it would be nice while it lasted.
