In various states of "loaded:"

Packed and ready to head back home from the BMWBMW Club's Annual Square Route Rally (2005):

A photo op my way home from Seneca Rocks, WV via Canaan Valley. This was taken at the top of the hill where I crashed in 2004 (partly because of an 18 wheeler over the centerline in a curve) had to ride that road again, and put the demons to rest. This is a rest stop on Rt219 north of Parsons:

In the hotel parking lot in Front Royal, VA. Loaded up and ready to get back underway to Athens, GA with my daughter - in 2006 for the AMA Women in Motorcycling Conference.

The bulky shape on top of the black roll bag is a Helen2Wheels mesh bag. About 70% of this trip was in heavy to VERY heavy rain... I took advantage of the little bit of clear weather to try to dry some stuff out.

Great example of packing.

Do these wet items dry when placed in the mesh bag?

YUP. That's the point of that bag. It has a strap that runs across one flat side that is tacked in several points. You just run your tie down straps thru two openings on the mesh bag to hold it on top of your other luggage. . . By the time you get to your next settling in point, your swimsuit (or whatever) is dry.

Pretty neat idea.
