Paris, AR 72855

GPS Coordinates (N35 10.415 W93 37.164)

Date of visit:
June 5th-8th, 2003

Weather:
This time of the year it was comfortable at night and even a bit cool in the mornings but it warmed up nicely and wasn't too hot.

Campground Condition:

This is a small campground but all the sites are very well kept.
The park roads were in excellent condition.
The showers/bathroom facilities were very nice and clean.Area Attractions:
There wasn't much around the area outside of the park that we found interesting, the riding is what we came for and that's what we found.Area Riding:
It's hard to pick a bad road to ride on in northern Arkansas. When in this area try SR-23 (Pig Trail Scenic Byway). It's an excellent road with varying landscape. Ride it from Ozark into Missouri and you won't be disappointed

US-21 is also a great road and runs parrallel to SR-23.

When in this part of Arkansas Hwy-7 is a big attraction as well.

All these roads can be done in a long day so split it out and give yourself time to stop and take pictures of some great country.

Nearest town with a Wal-Mart and NAPA store that stocks Plexus is Paris, AR

Havana, AR on the South side of the mountain only has a very limited service station/convenience store.

Welcome Gordon!

One thing about Mt. Magazine State Park is that at 10:00 it quiet time and the ranger will let you know if you?re being to loud. But you do get a good night of sleep
