So my family (daughter 12, son 19, and I ) went on our trip to the yellowstone area last week. We trailered our bikes out to near Cody and rode around from then on. This trip wasn't so much about mileage or even just riding ... but was more about spending some family time together and doing some hiking and exploring. We stayed here for multiple days last week. Cost was about $20 per night and was reserved through the nps site. Water and flush toilets were provided but showers were about 5 miles away at Fishing Bridge and cost $3.25 each. Firewood was $7 per box. Each campsite had a fire ring, picnic table and access to a bear box. The main portion of the campground was in a large field on a hillside ... very open with little shade. Stopped at this site after a break down forced me to give up the reserved Pfiffer Big Sur State Campground spot.
What a Nice Place.
Reasonable price, Super Facilities and Locations a Winner. Cabins or Campground, On-Site Store, Showers, Fire Rings, Some Hook-ups. A very pleasant stay.
